Because the same thing was happening to ME!

You see long before I was doing what I do now, I was a high-achieving woman, highly-motivated, ‘alpha’ female that just wanted to feel beautiful, feel proud of my life and my accomplishments, and simply be HAPPY!

So I went and did what any woman would do with (a lot) of weight to lose, a hope, and a dream:

  • I went on every diet, plan, and program I could imagine.
  • I hired coaches, joined masterminds, and attended retreats and events.
  • I even went back to therapy!

And it worked…to an extent.

But fast forward to the part where I ‘had it all’ – to the part in the story where I SHOULD have been happy and content.

That’s not how the story went down AT ALL.

In reality, even AFTER I one-third of my body weight, built a successful business, and checked off all those proverbial ‘tick-boxes’ I thought I needed to be happy…

I was NOT happy.

And that’s because while I was so busy and intentional about ‘fixing’ everything OUTSIDE of me. I never went and changed what was going on INSIDE.

I never went and transformed my Self-Image.

And I kept running into the same kind of ‘wall’ that I’m assuming you keep running into?

“Everywhere I went, there I was!”

No matter how ‘skinny’, ‘rich’, or ‘powerful’ I became in my life, my body, or my career…

I never felt ENOUGH!

Fill in the blanks:

  • Smart enough.
  • Pretty enough.
  • Successful enough.
  • Loveable enough.
  • ENOUGH…period!

And that’s because I truly believe that:

“What you SEE is who you BE.”

…which is to say, of course, that how you're showing up in your life-- whether that's physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially or relationally is a DIRECT reflection of what you see as being true about YOURSELF... relative to each of these areas.

If you SEE yourself as beautiful and loveable and irreplaceable then then you BE someone who shows up in the world as beautiful and loveable and irreplaceable.

What you SEE is who you BE.

If, on the other hand, you SEE yourself as imperfect, flawed, ugly, unloveable, and unworthy, then you'll BE the person who meets the circumstances of your life as that person.

Again, what you SEE is who you BE.

That's why doing the 'out there' work (the diets, the gym, the goal-based or motivational 'stuff') never works for most women, because they will ONLY ever BE the person that they SEE.

What you SEE is who you BE.

True transformation begins with the Self-Image.

Your Happy Ending...

I want to give you permission to forgive yourself for what you didn't do, who you haven't been, or whatever 'finish line' you didn't cross up until now.

After all...

You don't know what you don't know.

But (just hear me out for a moment)...

It's not like you're just out there 'doing NOTHING!'...

You're not just sitting there wishing things would 'magically' change for you.

You really HAVE gone and worked your butt off!

  • You tried every new workout or diet under the sun.
  • You tried making more money or creating more 'success'.
  • You tried the whole self-help or motivation 'thing'.

It's not from lack of effort that things are working they way you wish they were.

And I'm here to tell you:

IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!

You probably learned what I learned-- the same 'storyline' that I've found most women have learned:

  • That ACCEPTING yourself meant you could accept yourself when you lost 'the weight', earned more money, or had 'your shit together'.
  • That taking CARE of yourself meant either meticulously tracking and monitoring your weight, your food intake, or your calorie expenditure... or judging, comparing, and criticizing yourself when you weren't.
  • That your SELF-ESTEEM was determined by how 'stacked up' against those around you or how much confidence you had 'the right' to feel.
  • That your SELF-WORTH was something that was based on the number on the scale, the number in your bank account, or some other 'golden carrot' that you thought you were 'supposed to' achieve.
  • That your ability to 'ENDORSE' yourself was based on what you THOUGHT other people thought about you...or it was pretty much NON-EXISTENT-- that standing in your gifts, talents and extraordinaryocities (real word) was 'bragging' or 'unlady like'.

I totally get it!

Like I shared a moment ago...

Even after I lost one-third of my body weight, built a 'successful' business, and checked off all those proverbial 'tick boxes' I thought I needed to be happy...

I was NOT happy.

And THAT is why I grew into this smart, inspiring, successful, and beautiful women....

That didn't KNOW HERSELF as as smart, inspiring, successful and beautiful...

Because I was listening to the STORIES (see also: voices) in my head that caused me to think, feel, and behave otherwise. (I call them my Inner-Bitches).

(Now just roll with me for a moment...)

What if I told you that all of YOUR 'biggest problems'...

Are you doing what you're doing for YOU? Or for someone or something else? Are you solely relying on (requiring) the support, approval, and endorsement of others? Or are you learning to use your own 'internal compass' to help you support, approve of, and endorse yourself?

Self-Endorsement is a pivotal ingredient of the Self-Imaging Recipe.

BOTTOM LINE:

Your Self-Imaging recipe is personal. Your recipe is one-in-a-million. It just needs to be brought into existence.

So that's exactly where we start!

LAYER 2: Your (One-In-A-Million)
Inner-Compass

Once you get clear on your personal Self-Image Recipe. You're going to need some more clarity, direction, and CONFIDENCE along the way.

If all you do is change your habits, change some variables, or get yourself to DO things differently, your default Self-Image (what you're seeing and what you're saying) won't ever change. We need to transform "what you SEE and who you BE".

We all have that powerful, resilient, confident version of ourselves that we wish we could see more of. In an ideal world we would always be making decisions as HER, walking around as HER, talking like HER, thinking like HER.

So we need to find HER, define HER, and re-wire your brain to bring HER into existence. We need to make HER your default.

But in order to do that, you need a compass to find her. And you need to leave yourself breadcrumbs along the way so that you can KEEP coming back to her.

Every woman needs her own (what I call) Inner Compass.

When you don't feel centered in yourself and you don't feel like you're making rational decisions, THAT is when you make poor decisions. THAT is when you get off track. But (if you create it) YOUR inner compass will you back time and time again. Back to your rational self. Back to peace. Back to love.

But you can't use someone else's compass-- you need your own. And that's the next thing we'll be doing --creating YOURS.

Imagine this: Connecting to the version of yourself that you know you are, but just haven't seen in a while. Imagine that calmer, wiser, more 'aligned' version of yourself at the center of it all.

Then the next time you feel lost, upset, fearful, mad, lonely, sad (and you will feel all of those things at some point in your life), essentially you and your wiser, more loving self have already done the collaboration work and sent you messages from the future to help you get back 'on track'. They've left you breadcrumbs that bring you back HOME to yourself.

That what is created when you bring your Inner Compass into existence. It's poweful. And once you have it, it will serve you for the rest of your life.
