It wasn't too long before it become this really emotional and personal 'thing' for me...

(My Habit Timeline:)

Fast Forward To Adulthood...

January 25, 2011:

I had successfully lost about 1/3 of my body weight and had that tight, toned “bikini ready” body I had been dreaming of since I was a young girl.

But you know what else I had?

I had a volatile relationship with food and a toxic relationship with my body.

I had yet to except my own drug-like addictions to food and sugar, I was part of this all or nothing restriction battle around everything I ate (or didn’t eat).

I was NOT free.

I was NOT in control.

I did NOT have peace of mind.

My habits controlled ME.

I was a slave to the ‘chains’ of willpower, mind games, and all-or-nothing relationships with my ‘drugs’ of choice.

First it was food, sugar, and various forms of 'comfort eating'.

Then I turned to shopping for things I didn't even want or need.

Then it became netflix binge-watching mindlessly scrolling through facebook.

I knew there had to be a better way...

Here's What Happened Next...

The 'Mad Scientist' in me came out...

I went back to the 'drawing board', only this time using all of my knowledge, wisdom, experiences, and FAILURES to my advantage.

I was determined to finally address the CAUSE of my struggles, so that I didn't have to deal with the EFFECTS the rest of my life.

And it was throughout that process that I stumbled upon the exact mechanism that was happening in my brain that was CAUSING me to:

  • Polish off a tub of ice cream when I wasn’t even hungry.
  • Mindlessly scroll through Facebook for an hour at a time.
  • Binge-watch an entire series of something on Netflix in a weekend.

(The struggle is REAL!)

But once I was able to help myself understand WHY I do WHAT I do, everything was able to change for me.

  • My sugar and food addictions become a thing of the past.
  • I no longer felt ‘out of control’ of the habits that felt like they controlled ME more than I controlled THEM.
  • I felt grounded, free, and SANE for the first time in my life.

That's when I knew I had to start teaching this system to other women with food struggles, compulsive tendencies, and mindless/stress/emotional habits that they couldn't seem to overcome.

...But without all the controlling, depriving, or mind games.

And the result was something that was unlike anything that was out there.
